Many of you have heard of him.
For years, children have been scared into eating their vegetables, doing their homework, and treating their little brothers better by way of terrifying tales of the Bushman, a Fisherman's Wharf native that has paved his way to fame by scaring the hell out of young children and the elderly alike. What he does is he holds up a bush, one that definitely does not belong in the middle of an urban sidewalk. And yet, nobody notices. I know from firsthand experience, because he scared the hell out of me  . What gives him away is the large crowd of people taking photos of the mysterious bush, and the look of anticipation on the kids opposite you the moment before you hear the Bushman's low grumble.More from the series next week... including more on my personal interaction with him, and what I thought about him. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
