I met Mackenzie and her mother shortly after taking the photos of Teesh and Katherine, also on my DA site.
What I remember most about Mackenzie was the big grin on her face while she was feeding the ducks. Several times, she would pick up the goldfish that she wanted to feed to the ducks, edge slowly to the side of the pond, and then pull back right when the ducks came for fear of being bitten.
I love photography because it helps me to remember. I've always had a bad memory and in addition I'm a terrible listener, so photography is very much my own way to make myself feel human again, and to remind myself of what is important to me.

Technical info: Canon 1DS. 85mm 1.8 USM lens. ISO 1000, F2.8 at 1/200th. Sun had just set behind the mountains, so things were getting dark.
Ah I love this one even more! This just has so emotion in it I can't even describe. It's really innocent and beautiful ^_^ Shows a sense of...serenity I think.
I think there is a different for people to remember the important things in life. Photography is one of those great ways ^_^. It helps you express to .
this is beautiful...it reminds me of last summer - i worked across the street from a park with a duck pond and shared my lunch with the ducks and pigeons every day. my favorite were the fuzzy little ducklings
Thanks for dropping by . Feeding ducks is really relaxing. And afterwards I can go to China Town and order Peking Duck, a delicious (if a bit rich) meal.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
