see something so beautiful that it makes you feel like part of something bigger? Today, 4-09-06 I participated in the San Diego anti-immigration policy protest that began in Balboa Park and ended by the waterfront at the other end of the city.
I feel like I don't have words to express how much I love the Mexicans and other Spanish speakers that have taken me into their culture as if I were one of their own. This last year has been so beautiful for me. Looking through my photography series from today, I can tell that my photography isn't as consistently good as it used to be; but even if the tradeoff is permanent, I wouldn't have it any other way. Today I wasn't just a photographer taking photos for some good opportunity shots, I was part of the march, meeting families, photographing them, and in general just reminding myself why it was worth it learning Spanish in these past few months.
I love this shot because for me it represents everything I think America should be. I feel like we have so much to be proud of, for what our country has become. But there is so much farther to go. When will we be able to say that the people in these photos, all of which show more American pride than I've seen anywhere else in my life, are accepted by America as American citizens?
Looking back on this years Oscar winner Crash, I understand well why the government prepares to enact this law and why this motion encounters such an overwhelming pretest.
Good luck to you immigrants all!
Wow, awesome picture. I love the big blue sky and birds over all the people. And you're so right- no one loves this country more than the people who immigrate into it, it's about time some people realize that.

A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
In this article you will find many thumbnails of the sun in different forms, all photography featured here by the club feature-me. Please show your support for these artists and their work and the article so that more people can see their work.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

I like how your pictures aren't just pictures but they tell or are part of a story. I always like the stories behind the pictures.
